Girls-Who-Code is a nonprofit organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology by inspiring and empowering young girls to pursue careers in computer science and related fields. The organization provides free after-school programs, summer camps, and other opportunities for girls in grades 3-12 to learn to code, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community. Girls-Who-Code also advocates for policy changes to increase the representation of women in tech and works with corporate partners to create more inclusive workplaces. Since its founding in 2012, Girls-Who-Code has reached more than 500,000 girls across the United States.
